Our Story
It all started when my niece was preparing to travel overseas to help build a school. As part of her school fundraiser, she asked her grandad (my dad) to craft some of our handmade fishing rigs. To our surprise, the first one sold instantly. Encouraged by the response, we made a few more and shared them on Facebook — and that's when everything took off. Back then, there were only a handful of people doing what we were doing, and the overwhelming demand gave us the momentum to grow.
Fishing is more than a hobby for us — it’s in our blood. My passion was passed down from my dad, and his from his father. Growing up, our family weekends were all about camping, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. Now, that same love is being passed on to my nieces and nephews. While I don’t have kids myself, I take pride in knowing that this family tradition is continuing to thrive.
How the Glow Freak Range Was Born
The Glow Freak range was created out of a real need for versatility and performance in the water. Designed with passion and experience, each rig serves a dual purpose you can fish the Glow Freak as a jig, or use it the way it was originally intended: for float lining.
Float lining has always been my preferred method. In my experience, it’s more natural in the water and consistently brings in better quality fish.

Growing up my dad was known as the Oldman and we were originally going to call the brand OLDMAN FLASHER but when you put that into the Internet it was not good, so we went with OM Flasher.
Now you see the brand as Glow Freak, we hope you love our products as much as we love them and continue to grow with the brand as we continue to bring you new & improved high quality fishing gear .
